Things To Do This Winter Break

If you plan on making Knoxville your stop this holiday season you’ll find there is no reason to stay cooped up inside. There are kinds of events and fun family outings to help keep everyone entertained this winter break.

Knoxville Zoo Lights

The Knoxville Zoo is celebrating their second annual Zoo Lights. This light extravaganza presented by Chic-fil-A Knoxville, features an assortment of lighted animals, tree lights, lanterns, and food and drinks. The Zoo Lights end on Jan 9, 2022, and is definitely a must see.

Knoxville’s Holidays on Ice

This skating rink is in the middle of the historic Market Square that is open until January 2, 2022. It is the perfect outing for family, friends, or even date night. Tickets can be purchased online or at the rink.

Elf On the Shelf Adventure

Through January 2, 2022 you can pick up your North Pole Pass and start your adventure through downtown to find all of Santa’s Scout Elves. The pass will guide you through to 27 Scout Elves hiding in shop windows. You can download your North Pole Pass here and start your adventure.

Dollywood

Dollywood is always a great place to visit, especially for the holidays. Their Christmas Light Show is held daily in the month of December, and ranked one of the best in the state of Tennessee.

A Rocking Blues New Years Eve

The new On Broadway Event Center in North Knoxville is hosting A Rocking Blues New Years Eve show on December 31, 2021. You can ring in the new year with hors d’oeuvres and live music from Eric Gales, Lance Lopez, Hurricane Ruth, and Crooked Eye Tammy
Gatlinburg’s NYE Ball Drop
Of course Gatlinburg will host their Annual New Year’s Eve ball drop And firework show. This family friendly celebration has been a annual tradition since 1987. Complete with arts and craft shows, concerts, and food festivals, this year end event isn’t one to miss.
